New York, NY (Top40 Charts) Nights premiered their new video " Lullaby" today via Substream. The song is off their Tragic Hero Records debut album " Whisper" which was recorded by Jim Stewart and was mixed by Producer Jim Wirt (Fiona Apple, Incubus) at Crushtone Studios. The stop animation video was created over the last several months by frontwoman Jenna Fournier.
"'Lullaby' is about someone close to me who became famous and changed. I wanted to return to a place before that time. It's like I was sucked into dream. The video shows that music is a method to fight demons. It's a way to deal with all your problems" explained Fournier.
While shoegaze isn't your typical Tragic Hero band, they have found a home on the label. "You can't put young music fans tastes in a box anymore and assume that they listen to or embrace one specific type of music" said Tragic Hero Records President Tommy LaCombe, "they are more sophisticated than that. They want and enjoy musical diversity more than ever before."
Nights has toured Japan twice in support of their Japanese release on 2670 Records and looks forward to hitting the road on a full U.S. tour in the near future.
" Whisper" is available now along with pre-orders for vinyl at:
