Rocker Rich Lynch Is Rounding Up New Fans With Rugged "Rock N Roll Rodeo" In Nashville
New York, NY (Top40 Charts) Indie rocker Rich Lynch returns with an exciting new song that takes its theme from images of the great American Cowboy. It isn't the recording artist's first rodeo, but, it is his first track that explores the hard life of those that want to ride the "Rock n Roll Rodeo".

Actually, the origin of the digital single probably goes deeper than that.

"I maintain and truly believe that my very first memory was pre-incarnate," Lynch explains revealing that the very much classic rock sounding creation describes a real journey and decision. "I remember being given a choice of where I would end up in order to pursue this thing called life".

Where he wound up was on the outskirts of New York City born in the middle of the turbulent 1960's.

"Needless to say some of my first memories once arriving here were the songs on the radio," Rich added. "There was so much great music in the air at that time that I was hooked pretty good by the age of five".

Still, the Big Apple was not really known as rodeo country.

"Well, we had television," Lynch recalled. "In addition to all the amazing, violent and hopeful scenes on the screens as that decade closed we also had movies, Cowboys and Indians, and John Wayne. They pointed to a different way of life".

The song incorporates the idea of a rodeo as a metaphor for anyone's life that has had its fair share of ups and downs and twists and turns that can be both hard and rewarding.

"For a lot of people, a simple basic existence can be difficult," Lynch said. "We're all just trying to get to the other side in once piece. Often, we're battered and bruised when it's over. But, there's also the possibility of a great reward and crowning achievements if you can just hang on and don't let go".

The 4 minute and 44 second track encapsulates that idea in three verses that describe a journey and an acceptance of fate. A "quick shout-out to the clowns and ranch hands" acknowledges with gratitude and introspection the people who might have helped or even hindered along the way.

Helping Lynch achieve the #NewNashvilleRockSound on "Rock n Roll Rodeo" was producer Jay Pounders - a musician who has been on his own unique musical journey for the past few decades residing now in Music City to continue his dedication to rootsy, rock based songcraft.

"Jay did another fine job following up the song ("Ow, A Bad Singer's Pony Rent") we did to protest Bruce Springsteen and the exorbitantly priced tickets to his Broadway show," Lynch remarked. "I think our work here is just beginning and he brings out a side in me in the studio that I'm excited to further explore".

This is Lynch's twelfth digital single in a recording career that launched four years ago in a difficult marketplace for the independent musician. Still, he's looking to round up his fans and supporters with an eye to making the world a better place.

"Well, the fact of the matter is that it is a hard time to be selling music even though it's easier than ever to track down your favorite songs in an instant on your phone and computers," Lynch said. "My next step is to seek out some charities to work with where I'll donate a significant portion of my proceeds to them in order to prove to the people that there is a dedicated core of consumers that will still buy music - especially when it's for a good cause!"
