The Black Keys Talk With Rick Rubin On "Broken Record" Podcast
New York, NY (Top40 Charts) "The Black Keys are the last rock and roll band to really matter," says the Broken Record podcast. Bandmates Dan Auerbach and Patrick Carney are the guests on the latest episode and talk with host Rick Rubin about everything from their early days together to their new album, "Let's Rock," and even share some unreleased songs. You can hear it below.

"We started playing when we were sixteen and seventeen before we were a band," Auerbach says, "and we learned how to play together ... We always recorded ourselves because that's what was so much fun. That's what we were into. The first time I ever saw a four-track was at Pat's house. So, the beginnings of The Black Keys were a recording."

"Let's Rock," was released in June via Easy Eye Sound/Nonesuch Records and is available on all formats here. The Black Keys are touring North America through next week, with shows in Texas, Arizona, California, Oregon, Washington, and British Columbia (for details and tickets, see below Top40-Charts.com).
