The First Annual "Premios Los Angeles" Announces The Nominees For Their Golden Angel Award
Los Angeles, CA (Top40 Charts/ Premios Los Angeles) In a press conference filled with celebrities, "Premios Los Angeles" announced today the categories and nominees competing for the golden angel award.

"Premios Los Angeles" is an independent program from Huma Productions, offering the following 11 categories: 1 - Best Pop-Rock, 2 - Best Regional Mexican Artist, 3 - Best "Banda" Artist, 4 - Best Artist Tierra Caliente, 5 - Best Norteño Artist, 6 - Newcomer of the Year, 7-Composer of the Year, 8 - Best Altered Movement Artist, 9- Best Los Angeles Underground Artist, 10- Radio Announcer of the Year, 11 - Crossover TV Personality. "The nominees were chosen based on their social media presence and it will be the audience who will choose the winners via the internet," said Humberto Valencia, president of HUMA Productions and creator of the event. "'Premios Los Angeles' is a celebration of the accomplishments of contemporary Latino talent and it's really an honor for us to make this event a reality here in LA, the cradle of art and the world's projection."

"I love these awards because the artists have the opportunity to showcase and be recognized for their talent," added Regional Mexican singer Marion Moreno. 

The night will pay a special tribute to four Latino legends whose talent made an impact within their fields. The honorees are: Julio César Chávez, for his career in the world of boxing; Gil Cedillo for his work in the Latino community; Pepe Garza, for his contribution to the world of radio and regional Mexican music in the United States; and Ramón Ayala, for his 50-year music career. All honorees will be present on the day of the ceremony. "Premios Los Angeles" will feature memorable performances by Luis Coronel, Voz de Mando, Ramón Ayala, Enrique Bunbury, among others.

"Premios Los Angeles" will be held on May 28, at The Theater at the Ace Hotel in Los Angeles, before 1,600 guests.  Several giveaways will take place to award tickets.  "Premios Los Angeles" will air in the U.S. on MundoFox on Sunday June 1st at 7p.m., and on Ocho TV in 16 Mexican states.
