New York, NY (Top40 Charts) The newest song Retrospect is a really fresh touch in the local rock scene by the group Tough on Fridays, a lovely collage of musically laden ladies who know how to jam out!
Their song starts out with wild drumming to set the mood, and as soon as the break ends the note scores it's way in as a very luscious melody structure that keeps a strong eager edge (of that) classic rock feel.
The lyrics are soothingly sung with a very excellent performance. As they capture you and the audience to whimsically sing along about a girl's lonely heart and how she finds a way to push through it to do something that she loves. The motivational lyrics in a story are very touching. That's not even the best part yet,
For us true music lovers, we can appreciate the subtle artistry in performance, it really shows excellently in this song.
The driving guitars blends in very well with the pounding drum groove, interacting with the local crowd cheering along the music vibrates up and ensnares the room for applauds.

Complimenting to the live backing tracks, The lead singer's voice has a easy going whisper-like soft tone that diversifies it's intensity by pitch through-out the song as it is playing which creates a dramatic effect that seems to amaze the local patrons.
The song single is apparently a continuation off their legacy album dating back from 2017, with the band commenting that they "want to perform better than ever" which compliments their underground come back satisfyingly.
Not too bad girls, for just a small band based out of Texas, which you can catch often performing live at many local venues they record themselves sharing on their youtube page. They admit they are heavy in social media following too as Instagram & Twitter, so please, by a chance check out their video for their single "Retrospect". Enjoy classic easy going rock that is really fun to listen to, here, I'm sure you'll be surprised by these ladies when they got guitars in their hands.
