New York, NY (Top40 Charts) London cosmic punk rock quartet WACO are pleased to reveal the video for their new single 'Good Days', which the band are today excited to announce is the first material from their forthcoming second album Hope Rituals, set for release later this year. Further details will be announced in due course.

Available to purchase and stream on 27th April 2020 via Venn Records (the independent record label owned by UK punks Gallows and home to Gold Key, Nervus, Marmozets and many more), all proceeds from the track will go towards NHS Charities Together to support the National Health Service through the COVID-19 crisis and beyond.

Due to the self-isolation and lockdown measures, WACO called on fans of the band and the general public to be involved in the official video for the song, which was then created from the home footage contributions they received.

Commenting on the submissions, the band say: "We're overwhelmed by the support and creativity from our fans for the 'Good Days' video. It was touching to see smiling, positive faces from the UK, US, Russia, Italy and beyond. They reminded us that good days are waiting just around the corner, and got involved with a great cause to help health care workers who are putting everything on the line for the rest of us."

Produced by Steve Sears Jr at Monolith Studios, London, 'Good Days' is another roaring slice of modern punk rock from one of the UK's most exciting and experimental punk bands—constantly pushing the boundaries of the genre, and throwing their eclectic array of classic rock, prog, psych and folk influences into the mix, WACO are in a league of their own when it comes to defining exactly what punk music can be in the 21st century.

The band are ably fronted by their enigmatic 'high priest' frontman Jak Hutchraft, himself a gonzo journalist and broadcast regular for the likes of VICE and Kerrang! Magazine, and now presenter of the Human Magic podcast: a series of conversations with creatives, thinkers, believers and dreamers, centered around ideas and experiences, helping to navigate this weird and wonderful life.
'Good Days' is released 27th April 2020 via Venn Records

More about WACO:
Originating from the weirder nooks of the UK (North Yorkshire, Jersey and Teesside), WACO came together through their animalistic compulsion to make noise and their shared goal to brainwash the masses with their relentless optimism. Their previously released EPs Deathless (2017), Uprise (2016) and Sundown (2015) were also released on Venn Records.

The quartet's music boldly and joyfully melds a spread of '70s classic rock influences with punk, prog, psych and more, perfectly framing frontman Jak Hutchcraft's raw, northern storytelling, packed full of gritty realism, honesty and good vibes.

WACO's debut album Human Magic was released on Standby Records in November 2019 and featured the sorcery of their late bassist, Chris, who tragically passed away at the end of 2018. The record was written as a form of therapy to help the band cope with their loss. They are now joined by old friend James on bass guitar, who plays on forthcoming new single 'Good Days' and all future material.
The band have toured with Juliette Lewis & The Licks and appeared at Reading Festival, 2000 Trees, and more, with previous press coverage from LOUDER, Kerrang! Magazine, UPSET Magazine, and Punktastic, alongside radio support from BBC Radio One DJs Zane Lowe, Huw Stephens, Phil Taggart and Dan P Carter, and Planet Rock Radio.
