LONDON, UK (Top40 Charts/ VisionMusic Promotions) Adam Davis is a 17 year old, Brighton-based singer/songwriter. At 5, he joined a choir. Three years later, he took up piano. Then drums, sax and guitar.
When he was 11, he saw a Busker with a piano on Brighton seafront and asked if he could take over the set for half an hour. He loved it. Within three months, he was busking on a weekly basis in Brighton. During one session, he met two songwriters and at the age of 13 recorded his first album 'Shout Out' with them. The album sold out at a rapid pace and the local paper, 'The Argus,' picked up the story and ran a full page spread on Adam leading to offers of playing live at festivals like " The Beachdown".
In March 2010, he put his music on a French crowd funding site, and raised his 100,000 euro recording/promotion target in three months. In 2011, while doing his GCSE's, he wrote the songs for his album and in 2012, recorded the tracks in Paris with producer Christophe Battaglia ( Celine Dion, Tina Arena ) .
Following an artistic disagreement , he parted company with the label and signed to Matchbox Recordings LTD UK who are now releasing his single and brand new album " The Magician" in the U.K with distribution assistance from Universal Music Operations. The Single and video have already received big support from football stadiums like Old Trafford and are lined up to screened to thousands of football supporters by the end of the season.
The first single to be taken off the album is "The Magician" which includes a hot Club Remix by Rachel Ellektra/James well known for her work with Bowie, Sony, Steve Strange, Black Eyes Peas and Jessie J, Angie Stone, Flash Brothers, Above Average Ft F.A.B.E and more.
