SANTA MONICA, CA. (Top40 Charts/ Latin Recording Academy) - Current nominee Alacranes Musical, model/singer Bimba Bose, current two-time nominee Daddy Yankee, current two-time nominee Kinky, singer/percussionist Sheila E. and current nominee Aleks Syntek have been added to the lineup for the 8th Annual Latin GRAMMY Awards, it was announced today by The Latin Recording Academy. Newly added presenters include actress Karla Alvarez, actress Erika Buenfil, actor Eduardo Capetillo, actor/singer and current nominee Andras Cepeda, GRAMMY winner and current nominee Willy Chirino, Latin GRAMMY winner and current nominee Pedro Fernandez, actor/singer and current nominee Pablo Montero, actress Patricia Navidad, actor/comedian Paul Rodriguez, current nominees Vicky Terrazas y Marisol Terrazas (Los Horoscopos De Durango), actor Wilmer Valderrama, actress Angelica Vale, actor Eduardo Verastegui, and reggaeton duo Wisin y Yandel. The 8th Annual Latin GRAMMY Awards will take place on Nov. 8 at the Mandalay Bay Events Center in Las Vegas and will be broadcast live on the Univision Network from 8 � 11 p.m. (ET/PT).

Actor/Comedian Eugenio Derbez and actress/singer Lucero will co-host the hottest night in Latin music. Fashion entrepreneur and former Miss Universe Barbara Palacios will serve as emcee of the Pre-Telecast ceremony � during which winners in more than 30 of the 49 Latin GRAMMY categories will be announced prior to the evening's telecast � kicking off a full evening of celebrating excellence in recorded Latin music from around the world.

Alacranes Musical is nominated for Best Banda Album (Ahora Y Siempre). Latin GRAMMY winner Daddy Yankee has nods for Best Urban Music Album (El Cartel � The Big Boss) and Best Urban Song ("Impacto Remix"). Kinky is up for Best Alternative Music Album and Best Engineered Album (both for Reina). Aleks Syntek is nominated for Best Male Pop Vocal Album (Leccion De Vuelo).

Previously announced presenters feature tropical band and current nominees Aventura; actor, six-time GRAMMY winner and Latin GRAMMY winner Ruben Blades; actor Benjamin Bratt; GRAMMY and Latin GRAMMY winner and current nominee Elvis Crespo; actress Kate del Castillo; current nominee Pau Donas (Jarabe de Palo); three-time GRAMMY winner and Latin GRAMMY winner Gloria Estefan; actor/singer Sergio Goyri; three-time Latin GRAMMY winners, two-time GRAMMY winners and 2007 Latin Recording Academy Lifetime Achievement Award recipients Los Tigres Del Norte; singer Fanny Lu; actor/singer/model Sergio Mayer; actress Barbara Mori; Latin hip-hop singer Mala Rodriguez; actress/singer Alessandra Rosaldo; actress Nora Salinas; actress/model Dayanara Torres; and actress Sofia Vergara. Additionally, Las Vegas shows "Blue Man Group," "Folies Bergere," "HavanaNightShow" and "STOMP OUT LOUD" will be featured on the telecast, emphasizing the excitement and energy of this dynamic city.

Preceding the Awards show telecast, Univision will present exclusive "Noche de Estrellas" ("Night of the Stars") coverage of the celebrity arrivals direct from the Latin GRAMMY Awards Green Carpet starting at 7 p.m. ET/PT (6 p.m. Central). Hosted by "Primer Impacto" co-anchor Barbara Bermudo and popular Univision personality Giselle Blondet, "Noche de Estrellas" will feature live interviews and commentary on the stars and their fashions, and provide viewers an intimate and up close look at Latin music's most glamorous and gala event.

The 8th Annual Latin GRAMMY Awards will feature 49 categories and will be supported on radio via Univision Radio (the official Spanish-language radio network of the Latin GRAMMY Awards), and highlighted on the Internet by Univision Online (the official Spanish-language Web site of the Latin GRAMMY Awards) at www.univision.com (Uniclave Latin GRAMMY).
