New York, NY (Top40 Charts) Following "Thank U, Next," the singer has earned her second No. 1 on the Billboard Hot 100 with "7 Rings." The song sold 96,000 downloads and earned 85.3 million U.S. streams in its first week, marking the second-biggest streaming week ever for a song by a female artist. "7 Rings" tops the Hot 100 less than three months after "Next" debuted at No. 1 and led for seven total weeks. She becomes the fifth artist with multiple No. 1 debuts, joining Mariah Carey (three) and Justin Bieber, Drake, and Britney Spears, who have two each.
This is Grande's second song to debut at No. 1, which means that Grande is only the third female artist ever to have multiple songs debut at the top spot (alongside Britney Spears and Mariah Carey).
A grateful Grande took to Twitter to celebrate. "our second number one debut in three months," she tweeted. "i love the people i made these songs with more than words can express. on some true, forever shit. i'm gonna cry again so this is where this caption ends lmao. thank y'all for everything. i'm externally grateful."

"7 Rings" and "Thank U, Next," which remains in the top 5, are both set to appear on Grande's upcoming album Thank U, Next, due Feb. 8.

Drake's "In My Feelings" holds the overall record with 116.1 million streams, followed by Grande's own "Thank U, Next" with 93.8 million.

Maroon 5's former seven-week No. 1 "Girls Like You," featuring Cardi B, drops 7-9 on the Hot 100 and logs a 31st week in the top 10, becoming just the fifth single in the chart's history to reach that total. Here's a look at the longevity leaders:
