Erika Jayne Tops Billboard's "Hot Dance/Club Play Songs" Chart With New Single "Party People (Ignite The World)"
Los Angeles, CA (Top40 Charts/ Erika Jayne Official Website) Kicking off a new year, Billboard's chart-topping queen Erika Jayne has triumphantly returned to the #1 spot for the sixth consecutive time on Billboard's "Hot Dance/Club Play Songs" chart. This time around it's her party anthem titled, "Party People (Ignite the World)," that led her back to the top of the chart. The song was written and produced by Swedish hit makers Andreas Carisson and Niclas Kings. The release of "Party People" was simultaneously followed by a seductive, dance-driven club video featuring a sexier-than-ever Erika Jayne. The music video was directed and choreographed by Mikey Minden, co-artistic director/choreographer for Pussycat Dolls. The single's crowd-pleasing remixes were created by Jody den Broeder, Bimbo Jones, Hector Fonseca, Whiiite and Cory Enemy. Trailing behind Erika's hit single is Katy Perry's "The One That Got Away" and Lady Gaga's "Marry The Night." Previous Erika Jayne singles "One Hot Pleasure," "Rollercoaster," "Stars," "Give You Everything," and "Pretty Mess" also hit the #1 position on this chart. Her single "One Hot Pleasure's" peak at #1 topped tracks by Katy Perry, Cher and Enrique Iglesias (featuring Ludacris and DJ Frank E) solidifying her as a major player in the pop and dance worlds.

Erika will be performing her hits on Saturday, January 14th at The Parliament House in Orlando, FL.

About Erika Jayne
Known for her alluring vocals, catchy melodies and electro beats, not to mention an infectious taste of decadence, pop vocalist, songwriter and performer Erika Jayne is a force to be reckoned with. The Atlanta-born, Los Angeles transplant hit #1 on Billboard's dance charts with her first hit single "Rollercoaster." Five more number one singles including "Stars," "Give You Everything," "Pretty Mess," "One Hot Pleasure" and most recently "Party People (Ignite the World)", soon followed it. Erika Jayne is a bona fide queen of the charts. According to Billboard, only thirteen acts have taken their first four hits to number one since the chart launched in 1976. Erika joins the ranks of dance giants, including Rihanna and The Pussycat Dolls, who have accomplished similar feats. Industry powerhouse Billboard magazine and industry insiders have distinguished her for this "uncommon feat."
