NEW YORK (Top40 Charts) - The Reference Group of the Eurovision Song Contest announced that 42 countries will take part in this year's competition. Georgian broadcaster GPB decided not to take part in the competition.
At the moment, the 42 entered songs are being reviewed by the Reference Group to make sure they all comply to the Rules. The complete and official list of participants will be presented to you later today.

Under huge media attention, featuring over 150 journalists and more than 20 camera crews from Russia and abroad, Dima Bilan then drew the first three jokers. The Heads of Delegation from these countries will get the opportunity to pick their own starting position.

The EBU's televoting partner Digame presented the new voting procedure, featuring a 50% influence of televoters and 50% influence of national professional juries.

The 42 participating countries will cast their vote in the Final in the following order, determined by draw: Spain, Belgium, Belarus, Malta, Germany, Czech Republic, Sweden, Iceland, France, Israel, Russia, Latvia, Montenegro, Andorra, Finland, Switzerland, Norway, Bulgaria, Lithuania, United Kingdom, FYROM, Slovakia, Greece, Bosnia & Herzegovina, Ukraine, Turkey, Albania, Serbia, Cyprus, Poland, the Netherlands, Estonia, Portugal, Romania, Ireland, Denmark, Moldova, Slovenia, Armenia, Hungary and finally Azerbaijan.
