COPS 4 CAUSES (C4C) has partnered with Avalon Hollywood to raise money for their "Fallen Heroes Fund" that assists families of law enforcement members who were disabled or killed in the line of duty. Funds raised will also be used to support the organization's outreach program, in support of returning military veterans.
COPS 4 CAUSES Vice President, Los Angeles Sheriff's Department, Chief Roberta Abner announced that COPS 4 CAUSES will be honoring Sheriff Lee Baca, Chief Charlie Beck (LAPD), Chief Jim McDonnell (Long Beach P.D.), Chief Mark Yokoyama (Alhambra P.D.) and Chief Edward Medrano with the organization's Visionary Award. Additional awards will be presented to past media and major sponsors including KCAL9/CBS2, The Association of Los Angeles Deputy Sheriff's (ALADS) and the Los Angeles
Police Protection League (LAPPL). Numerous stars are scheduled to drop by to lend their support.
