Grammy Noms The Mavericks Perform "All Night Long" For Premiere Ceremony
New York, NY (Top40 Charts) The Mavericks took center stage at the Microsoft Theater yesterday during the Grammy Awards Premiere Ceremony to perform All Night Long, which scored a nomination for Best American Roots Song and was penned by Cuban American frontman Raul Malo. The musical comrades - Malo, Paul Deakin (drums), Eddie Perez (guitars) and Jerry Dale McFadden (keyboards) - garnered a nod in the Best Americana Album category for Mono and once again demonstrated This is why human beings make music (Los Angeles Times).

Surprising the room at El Cid during El Twangueros show on Saturday, the band treated patrons to a pre-Grammy preview with hits like Back in Your Arms Again, All You Ever Do Is Bring Me Down and Come Unto Me. The Mavericks, who formed over two decades ago in Miami, will bring more sizzle to the stage when they return to Los Angeles on March 5 for a tour stop at the Fonda Theatre.

The dynamic band was deemed #1 Best Live Act in the Nashville Scenes 16th annual Country Music Critics Poll, which compiles votes by journalists from The New York Times, Washington Post, Wall Street Journal, Billboard, Pitchfork.com, PopMatters.com and other outlets. Exuding feel-good vibes, unmistakable energy and a melting pot of genre influences, the reigning Americana Music Awards Duo/Group of the Year also earned top spots on several 2015 Best-of lists from esteemed music critics at the Los Angeles Times, NPR and Rolling Stone.

The Mavericks unique sound, showcased live across the globe and on critically acclaimed albums most recently Mono (2015) and In Time (2013) unites the masses through the most universal language of all music.
