As a performer, composer and recording artist, Eric Johnson been at the forefront of contemporary music for well over 20 years. Ah Via Musicom, Johnson's third studio album, was certified platinum and introduced his signature hit, "Cliffs of Dover," which won that year's GRAMMY Award for Best Rock Instrumental Performance. The album also spawned two other chart-topping singles - "Trademark" and "
Righteous" - which made Johnson the first artist ever to score three "Top 10" instrumentals. All
Music Guide recently described Ah Via Musicom as "a recording that has reached near-classic proportions within the guitar community," and one that has seen Johnson "compared with rock's immortals."
