New York, NY (Top40 Charts) Kanye West has trumped a Billboard chart record set by Michael Jackson. The rapper has now had 40 songs in the US singles chart top 40. His latest was Schoolboy Q�s 'That Part', which features guest vocals from West.

The US star has now bypassed Michael Jackson and Frankie Valli on the list of male artists with the most top 40 singles. They both had 39, while the next on the list is Marvin Gaye with 41 hits.
Topping the rundown is Elvis Presley, who has had a staggering 80 top 40 US singles. Rapper Lil Wayne is second on the list with 69, while Sir Elton John is third.
