Korn Garner Critical Acclaim For Their Current Tour In Support Of Their 11th Studio Album "The Paradigm Shift"
New York, NY (Top40 Charts) "Korn's ability to keep ahead of metal's creative curve became readily apparent, though created more than 15 years ago, they sound like they could have been written 15 days ago. They have moved forward yet again, albeit with less chunky guitars, on the new record. Singles like 'Never Never' and 'Love and Meth' still showcase the group's affinity for digital accents (keys and recorded elements are now standard at its shows) while reminding of its talent for heavy hooks that stick." - Ramon Gonzales, THE ORANGE COUNTY REGISTER , 10/11/2013

"…The band electrified the stage with their set at the Wiltern, in Los Angeles on October 10th. The show was an inferno of effects: scorching heat, red lights, plumes of smoke, and dozens of people enslaved behind a massive spiked cage built directly behind the stage. The crowd pumped their fists vigorously to the beat, as the energy surged through the hall and fans joined the mosh pit led by Zeppelin Howsmon Davis, the lead singers young son… Paradigm Shift is a mature work, merging the classic grungy sounds of modern metal with more progressive sounds that seamlessly blend both lyrical and aggressive elements of metal." - Dan "Plasma" Rauch, MUSIC CONNECTION , 10/30/2013
"Korn played with a ferocity that's rarely matched in the 21 st century. There was a feral, fiery, and focused intensity raging through the band's flawless eighteen-song set." - Rick Florino, ARTISTDIRECT.COM, 10/7/2013

"Korn fans were beyond stoked for the concert at The Fillmore, as this was unlike any other Korn show that hit Detroit over the past decade. The band welcomed the return of long-time guitarist Brian 'Head' Welch, who had been absent since 2003's 'Take a Look in the Mirror.' The band was truly together, as evident in their electric performance." - Ashley Zlavatopolsky, REAL DETROIT WEEKLY , 10/1/2013
"The amazing energy from the crowd didn't stop for a full 90 minutes, either, as Korn - playing The Palladium for the first time since December 2005, and playing The Palladium for the first time with original guitarist Brian 'Head' Welch since November 2003 - owned the night in a way they haven't done in years." - Jorge Bannister, WORCHESTER TELEGRAM & GAZETTE REVIEWER , 9/29/2013

"The band didn't waste time getting to the main reason they were there. A few songs into the set, Davis yelled out 'Who wants to hear a new song?' receiving a surprisingly enthusiastic response from the audience. They launched into 'Love and Meth,' a memorable and catchy track from The Paradigm Shift that, like most of the new album, evokes classic KoRn while being a bit more accessible." - Howard Whitman, TELL MAGAZINE , 9/30/2013

"Korn's live show proves to be a practice of balance, a perfect mix of visual ambiguity (human cages, electric strobe, Davis' Alien-esque mic stand), riotous sound (fully engaged again with the return of 'Head' Welch who brings back the double guitar assault) and timed tossups, like the addition of a Pink Floyd cover or making the crowd wait on baited breath for the three biggest hits delivered during the planned encore ('Get Up!', 'Got the Life', 'Freak on a Leash'). Time has done little to disturb the union of the band, which has found a perfect lineup with the original four members on the front line. Incendiary drummer Ray Luzier stokes the fire from behind, a combination leading to Dolby-like explosions when fully engaged. In an interesting turn of events, newest member Luzier has becomes the funnel for the band through which all sound travels. His pragmatic timing and chiseled drilling help to find the core of Korn's aggression. It results in a heavier, more dimensional sound supported by guitarist James 'Munky' Shaffer's shredding and vocalist Davis' entrapped howling. With time Korn has also learned the art of percolating melody. New single 'Never Never' has become their most populist song to date. Then again, versatility has been their platform since the beginning, and will continue to put the 'Bakersfield Five' in the spotlight." - Selena Fragassi, POPMATTERS.COM , 10/31/2013

"I always knew that bass was an important element in their music, but until you see KoRn live, you don't really understand the importance of the instrument. I could feel Fieldy's bass shake The Electric Factory, and the way the drums compliment his slaps was a really incredible thing to experience live… Perhaps the greatest thing to come from this performance was seeing Brian 'Head' Welch on stage with his old friends. He was warmly welcomed by the crowd when he first appeared, and he blew us away with his returning presence. It felt so good to see Head, Fieldy, Jonathan, and Munky lined up together playing the music they love. You could tell they were having a good time too, and that's probably the best part. The band as a whole felt complete, and with the addition of Ray Luzier they sound tight and better than ever." - Jo Pincushion, ROCK ON PHILLY , 10/9/2013

"…they still put on a powerful show." - Jason Miller, THE VINYL DISTRICT, 9/20/2013

"This wasn't just any KORN performance. Fans had two major things to look forward to during this particular set: 1) Brand new music from The Paradigm Shift (out October 1 st ) and 2) The return of Brian 'Head' Welch. And yes, both were worth the eight hour wait." - Paige Montgomery, LAMUSICBLOG.COM, 9/18/2013

"They pummeled the senses of this overexcited crowd with a series of head banging classics that included 'Shoots and Ladders,' 'Falling Away From Me,' 'Coming Undone' and what appeared to be the new crowd favorite, 'Never Never.' Korn left the stage to a thunderous ovation." - James Villa, ON TOUR MONTHLY, 10/28/2013

"Thunderous bass mixed with Davis' wicked throaty vocals; it was a spectacle that would've sent any fan of this genre into pandemonium, and that's exactly what happened…Korn played an 18 song set of non-stop intensity and raw power…the night was a total success and left every fan sweating, smiling, completely exhausted and officially blown away." - Todd Radusnky, LISTEN UP DENVER! , 10/10/2013

"The Grammy award-winning band hit the ball out of the park repeatedly for over ninety minutes as a Toronto crowd literally got their minds melted by the sheer musical force of Korn's live performance." - Mike Bax, LITHIUM MAGAZINE, 10/3/2013

KORN is currently on their co-headlining arena tour with ROB ZOMBIE titled "The Night Of The Living Dreads Tour"
