NEW YORK (Top40 Charts) - US Pop icon / superstar Lady Gaga has become the 3rd artist in the USA to have three No 1 songs from their debut album on the Billboard Mainstream Top 40.

Lady Gaga has topped the chart with her three consecutive songs: 'Just Dance', 'Poker Face' and 'LoveGame'. It's also emerged that the album 'The Fame' has sold 1,162,000 copies in the U.S.A according to SoundScan.

Only two other acts have achieved the same Mainstream Top 40 success:
1. Sweden's Ace Of Base (1993-94) topped the charts with their singles, The Sign, All That She Wants, and Dont Turn Around.
2. Canadian pop-punker Avril Lavigne Avril (2002-03) hit the top with her three tracks, Complicated, Sk8ter Boi, and Im With You.

Lady Gaga (who was born Stefani Germanotta) appeared semi-nude on the cover of Rolling Stone magazine for their May 2009 issue for the annual Hot List wearing plastic bubbles only.
In June 2009, she revealed plans of touring with Kanye West.
