Lee Ann Womack Earns Two 2019 Grammy Nominations
New York, NY (Top40 Charts) Congratulations to Lee Ann Womack, who has earned two 2019 Grammy nominations. Her latest, critically acclaimed album 'The Lonely, The Lonesome & The Gone' (ATO Records) has been nominated for Best Americana Album, and the album's lead single "All the Trouble" has been nominated for Best Americana Roots Song. The nominations are the eleventh and twelfth of Womack's storied career, and her first as a songwriter.

Recorded in her home state of Texas at the legendary SugarHill Studios, 'The Lonely, The Lonesome & The Gone' is a breathtaking hybrid of country, soul, gospel and blues resulting in a work that's "remarkably strong, an album that's bound to last" according to the Wall Street Journal. With Womack personally co-writing more songs on the album than ever before, NPR says 'Lonely' is "bound for the country canon." The album earned spots on many year-end "best-of" lists including NPR, Rolling Stone and Garden & Gun, and Womack was named Female Vocalist of the Year in the Nashville Scene's annual Country Music Critic's Poll.

"All the Trouble," co-written by Womack and studio bandmates Waylon Payne and Adam Wright, showcases how "Womack quietly became one of country's most consistent songwriters" (Billboard).

Praised by everyone from The New York Times, the Wall Street Journal, New Yorker and more, Womack has built a career on songs that slice life wide open to let the pain and desire pour out; her music is the ultimate form of connection, unvarnished and true. With six albums and international chart-topping singles to her credit, Womack has earned six Country Music Association Awards (including Single and Album of the Year), five Academy of Country Music Awards, a GRAMMY, and much more.
