Lyle Lovett Inducted Into Red Rocks Hall Of Fame
New York, NY (Top40 Charts) As Lyle Lovett takes the stage for his 21st show at Red Rocks Amphitheatre, the venue has announced Lovett's induction into the Red Rocks Hall of Fame. The venue occasionally inducts performers who have particular longevity or importance in the venue's history and Lovett is the sole honoree this year.

"Lyle Lovett is a longtime favorite of Colorado's fans and his history at Red Rocks includes some of the most memorable nights of the last 30 years," said venue director Tad Bowman. "We're happy to induct Lyle into the Red Rocks Hall of Fame as recognition of that legacy."

Lovett's career spans nearly four decades as a country singer-songwriter, actor and musician. He has won four Grammy Awards and was the first recipient of the AMA Americana Trailblazer Award.

According to venue records, Lovett first performed at Red Rocks July 5, 1990 - that night with Rickie Lee Jones. Since then, Lovett has appeared 20 more times with artists including Rosanne Cash, Alison Krauss, Shawn Colvin, Leo Kottke, the Subdudes, the Nitty Gritty Dirt Band, Kris Kristofferson, Robert Earl Keen and Bonnie Raitt.

Lovett will be honored with an acknowledgment in the Red Rocks Visitor Center Hall of Fame. He will be presented with a hand-made, Red Rocks Hall of Fame edition wristwatch from Ft. Collins-based Vortic Watch Co., the official watch provider of the Red Rocks Hall of Fame.
