Naughty Boy Tops The UK Singles Chart With 'La La La' And Daft Punk Go Straight To The Top Of The UK Albums Chart!
LONDON, UK (Top40 Charts) Naughty Boy has his first number one single, replacing Daft Punk who top the albums chart for the first time. "La La La" is the new single from Naughty Boy and Sam Smith. Naughty Boy (Shahid Khan) made his UK chart debut in March 2010 with Never Be Your Woman which featured Wiley and Emeli Sande. The latter has gone on to do rather well for herself. Smith's previous chart outing was as the featured vocalist on Disclosure's debut hit Latch last year.

After four weeks at the summit Daft Punk (featuring Pharrell Williams and with some help from Nile Rodgers) slip to No 2. French duo's new single 'Get Lucky' is now the best selling single of 2013 so far.

After climbing the chart for the last four weeks Passenger slips back one place to No 3 with 'Let Her Go.' The top five is completed by two non-movers - Macklemore & Ryan Lewis featuring Ray Dalton at No 4 with Can't Hold Us and Rudimental featuring Elle Eyre Waiting All Night at No 5.

On the Albums chart, Daft Punk have bagged their first ever Official UK No 1 album with 'Random Access Memories'. In getting a No 1 album the Daft Punk have achieved something which has eluded their fellow Frenchmen Charles Aznavour, Jean-Michel Jarre and even David Guetta.

After a week at the summit Rod Stewart slips to No 2 with Time.

The National's chart career took a long time to get off the ground. Their new album, Trouble Will Find Me, gives them a new chart peak as a new entry at No 3.

Texas took a break after 2005 album Red Book but have now returned with a new album The Conversation. It is a new entry at No 4 to give them a sixth top ten success and their first for nearly ten years!

The 30 Seconds To Mars' enter the top ten for the first time at No 5 with Love Lust Faith + Dreams.
