November 1st Blues Rock Release That Nails It Big Time

New York, NY (Top40 Charts) The Voodoo Choir has this puppy set at full throttle with a no holds barred solid drivin' kick ass blues rock sound. Richard Cagle, the group's front man with the super voice has never, ever sounded better. Add to that the exceptional lead guitar work of Lee Martin and when you put these two ingredients together you get a blues rock release that is insanely top shelf.
For example track three, Slow Blues, is a cross over track if there ever was one. The song builds anticipation and then with all the hurtin' one can bring to the surface the pain of having the blues arrives and it arrives big time. Then with the introduction of some insane crescendos a uniquely haunting reminiscent seventies/eighties recognizable sound emanates and you are mesmerized. You haven't heard this kind of suck you in song since the greats delivered such era crossing memorable pieces of work years and years ago. A Truly remarkable track that will play on bar room juke boxes over and over and over again.
This track delivers real deep down in the gut blues rock. However, it's not just this one track. There's a total of thirteen tracks on this new release and not a clunker among them.
