Ourstage Launches Songs Of The Revolution, An Original Recording Session Series
New York, NY (Top40 Charts/ OurStage Official Website) Ourstage.com Launches Songs Of The Revolution, An Original Recording Session SeriesOurStage.com, the premier destination for indie music discovery, has launchedSongs of the Revolution, a series of live recordings that showcase the raw talent of buzz-worthy artists touring through Boston, the historical hub of revolution.

Artists are invited into Moontower Studio in Somerville, MA to record a live session with OurStage Community Manager and Producer, Scott Janovitz. Audio recordings of the sessions are then made available for streaming and free download on OurStage.com.

Songs of the Revolution featured artists include:
• Never Shout Never: A rabid social media fan base launched Never Shout Never into the pop rock spotlight when they peaked at No. 2 on Billboard's Rock Albums chart in 2010. Their Songs of the Revolution session features two tracks off their recent release Time Travel, which premiered on Rolling Stone.

• Lady Lamb the Beekeeper: A regular on the CMJ charts, Lady Lamb has been hailed as "dramatic", "gorgeous", and "ballsy" by Brooklyn Vegan and Limewire. Lady Lamb's session includes an advance listen to her previously unreleased song, "Florence Berlin".

• You Am I: The first Australian rock band to have three albums successively debut at #1 on the AIRA charts, You Am I has been cited as an influence for Sonic Youth, Soundgarden, and Silverchair. This series features front man Tim Rogers recording two exclusive acoustic tracks.

• Tim Blane: Metronome Magazine called Blane's debut "lust with instrumentation, beautifully clever prose and songs that the heart remember a masterful body of work." More recently he has been seen in millions of homes teaching guitar and piano lessons as the teacher in Apple's "Garageband" program, in addition to writing custom ringtones for Pepsi. Blane's song "Magnetic" is currently a finalist of the 2011 International Songwriting Competition.
