RIZE Frontman Jesse To Release Remixed Cover Of Char's Single "Stand"
New York, NY (Top40 Charts/ Big Apple Style Marketing) Jesse McFaddin, the Japanese rock icon, and founder of alternative 3 piece rock band RIZE has announced that he will release a new remixed version of the rock song Stand as a part of his cross platform project Stand Up! Fund. Stand was originally composed and released by Japanese top tier rock guitarist Char who is viewed as a "musician's musician" rock guitarist pioneer. He has a prominent career which includes collaborations with many top ranked artists such as Steve Lukather, Stevie Salas, Richie Kotzen, Paul Jackson, Jeff Beck, Micky Moody, Brian Setzer, Jeff Porcaro and David Paich to name a few. In addition to this, Jesse is the son of Char.

Jesse is quoted as saying:

"Stand Up! Fund is a 100% user influenced, mash-up type of project where everybody can freely join in to create new content with me, regardless of age, genre, gender, religion, countries or whatever. I strongly believe in everyone having their own unique talents. They deserve to 'Stand Up now' and have their voices be heard around the globe. That is the bottom line of this project. I am pumped about the remix version of Stand, because I can see the same vibe with my project. Also, I want this cover version to become a liaison between my generation and my dad's generation. On the flip side, or personally, June also has Father's Day, in addition to my father's birthday. So, it would be great if I can express my gratitude to him through this song."

This version of Stand would be arranged as a dubstep version with NYC based budding music producer Pavel Bez. The song will be released in early July through iTunes, Spotify, Amazon and more. Jesse also announced that through the Stand Up! Fund project he will be launching a new collection for his men's street wear fashion line Slip&Co. Slip&Co will be releasing a collection of t-shirts featuring designs crafted by the NY based fashion unit "Kompliment" with influences from the Stand Up! Fund concept.

Jesse is a Japanese American singer, rapper, producer, composer, MC, and rock guitarist. He is the founder and front man of the three piece rock band, RIZE. He is also considered a fashion icon in Japan because of his clothing line Slip&Co, which is worn by many celebrities and sports figures in the country.

Char is a rock guitarist, producer and composer who is also considered a "treasure in the Japanese rock scene". Char rose to prominence in the late 60's with a guitar style that was influenced by blues and rock with pieces from groove, folk, reggae and more. He cites artists such as Jimi Hendrix, Eric Clapton and Jeff Beck as influences. Char has a career that spans 40 years and boasts the release of more than 40 albums in that time.
