Singer Dedicates Song To Life's Unsung Heroes: Caregivers
Austin, TX (Top40 Charts/ Dena Taylor Official Website) In a tribute to those who bear the often crushing burden of caring for ailing or dying loved ones, jazz and blues vocalist Dena Taylor will donate the proceeds of her latest single "Bein' Green" to organizations that support caregivers. Taylor's soothingly pure and wistful interpretation of composer Joe Raposo's classic song is reflective of the emotional toll and isolation the selfless caregiver endures, and expressive of the sincere gratitude she feels toward these often underappreciated individuals.

Her cause is also a personal one. "I am deeply thankful to my sister, Linda, who took care of my mother during the final years of her life when she was suffering from Alzheimer's and other debilitating conditions," says Taylor. "So I'm dedicating this song to Linda, her husband Michael and caregivers everywhere who make huge sacrifices in their own lives for the sake of others."

Accompanying Taylor on the recording are three of Austin's finest musicians - Rick McRae and Terry Hale of George Strait's Ace in the Hole Band and Ernie Durawa of the Texas Tornados. McRae's deft guitar comping and soloing artfully complement Taylor's consoling vocals, imbuing this jazz ballad with a fluidity and style all its own.

A special webpage has been created (https://www.denataylormusic.com/id37.html) where visitors are invited to listen to the full track and, upon making a donation, will receive a copy of the recording. Those who donate the higher amounts indicated will also be rewarded with special gifts.

Proceeds from track sales and any additionally donated funds will be contributed in the name of Taylor's mother Pauline to caregiver organizations (listed on the webpage along with their links) providing caregivers the much-needed resources to cope with the physical, emotional and financial demands of caregiving.

Dena Taylor, a singer and actress, has two other commercially available CDs - the award-winning "Round Midnight" with musicians Ron Teixeira, Ron Pirtle and Dave Dunscombe; and the recently released "Certitude" featuring Grammy winner Redd Volkaert and Ernie Durawa, from which the track "Song for My Father" was certified by the International Association of Independent Recording Artists (IAIRA) as an International Top 100 hit.

Dena Taylor is available for interviews by telephone and by arrangement, and will give live performances of her new single on broadcast media where feasible. More information about her career and recordings can be found at her Official Website: https://www.denataylormusic.com.
