Surf's Up! Teen Beach Movie Soundtrack Available On Walt Disney Records
Burbank, CA (Top40 Charts/ Walt Disney Records) Today, Walt Disney Records releases the surf-rock/pop soundtrack for the Disney Channel Original Movie "Teen Beach Movie," an exuberant song, sand and surf fest set inside a retro beach party movie. The television premiere of "Teen Beach Movie" is Friday, July 19 (8:00 p.m., ET/PT) on Disney Channel U.S. followed by telecasts on Disney Channels around the world.

Starring are Ross Lynch (of Disney Channel's "Austin & Ally" and Hollywood Records' R5) and Maia Mitchell (ABC Family's "The Fosters") as Brady and McKenzie, surfers who take the last wave of summer, one that mysteriously takes them into a classic beach party movie, Wet Side Story. There, it's surfers versus bikers for control of the beach hangout…and everyone spontaneously breaks into song and dance. Brady and McKenzie must try to return to present day, but their lives may be changed forever when they inadvertently change the movie's romantic storyline -- and the movie's handsome surf guy, Tanner, is falling for McKenzie while biker girl Lela is swooning for Brady.

The soundtrack features 12 songs performed by the cast plus three instrumental bonus tracks. Acclaimed songwriters and producers Antonina Armato & Tim James, Jeannie Lurie, Aris Archontis, Chen Neeman, David Lawrence & Faye Greenberg, Ali Dee, Mitch Allan, Jason Evigan and Nikki Leonti contributed to the soundtrack.
