Tree Town Music Festival Partners With Songs For Sound To Bring The Biggest Songwriters In Country Music To American Legion Stage On May 24, 2015
New York, NY (Top40 Charts) Tree Town Music Festival is partnering with Songs for Sound, a charity whose core mission is to improve the quality of life for profoundly deaf children worldwide, to bring three of the most successful songwriters in Country music to The American Legion stage in Forest City, Iowa on Sunday, May 24. Festival ticket holders who make a $10 or more donation to Songs for Sound will be entered to win a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity to sit onstage during performances by powerhouse Rascal Flatts vocalist Gary LeVox and hit-makers Kelley Lovelace, Neil Thrasher and Andrew Pates, songwriters who have penned hits for Jason Aldean, Brad Paisley, Carrie Underwood, Luke Bryan, Kenney Chesney and more. Fans can make donations both online at treetownfestival.com and onsite all four days of the festival.

360 million people worldwide have a disabling hearing loss.
1.5 million veterans suffer from disabling hearing loss in the US.
Songs for Sound is a Nashville-based charity whose core mission is to improve the quality of life for deaf & hard of hearing children worldwide by providing resources to give them the chance at a mainstream life. Songs for Sound will inform the deaf/HOH community and provide resources for cochlear implants and rehabilitation, including speech/audiology services, to Veterans, children and all ages in need regardless of race, religion or any other critieria. In 2009, the niece of Rascal Flatts' Gary LeVox, Alexis "Lexi" Vernon, at the tender age of 19 months, went from a silent, deaf world to hearing her mommy whisper "I love you, baby girl." It was this miraculous day on July 31, 2009 when Lexi heard her family for the first time; this was the day their mission began. Their goal is to inspire a sense of philanthropy through music-inspired events, raise awareness and donations and give back the gift God has given them. They will take their mission worldwide helping children obtain the gift of hearing through hearing missions, training and education.

Today, Lexi is seven years old, attends a top academic mainstream school, has perfect speech, plays every sport possible and rocks out to Uncle Gary and Rascal Flatts' music!

Tree Town Music Festival is bringing the hottest rising stars and established hit-makers in music to Forest City, Iowa, Memorial Day Weekend (May 21-24). For the second year, American Legion service officers from Iowa and Minnesota will be onsite to meet with veterans and their families to help them with their Department of Veterans Affairs (VA) benefits and health-care interests. American Legion service officers are well-trained experts in VA programs and services.
