Universal Music Publishing Group Sweeps 23 Awards At 20th Annual Latin Grammys
New York, NY (Top40 Charts) Universal Music Publishing Group (UMPG), a leading global music publisher, earned 23 wins at the 20th Latin Grammy Awards in Las Vegas. The publisher's world-class songwriters were honored across major categories including Album of the Year, Record of the Year, Best Contemporary Pop Vocal Album, Best Pop Song and Best Urban Song, among many others.

Breakout superstar Rosalía was the evening's biggest winner, taking home five significant awards including Album of the Year. In doing so, Rosalía made history by becoming the first female artist to win this category at the Latin Grammys in thirteen years. For the outstanding achievement, she graciously thanked her fans, collaborators and the UMPG team. Additionally, Rosalía won Best Contemporary Pop Vocal Album for El Mal Querer, her second studio album which swept all categories it was nominated for. The trap-flamenco sensation also earned Best Urban Song for "Con Altura", her smash collaboration with UMPG writer J Balvin. Rosalía rounded out her sensational evening by performing a two-song medley of "Con Altura" and her new single "A Palé."

Talented Spanish songwriter-artist Alejandro Sanz won three awards and currently holds the record for most Latin Grammy wins with 23 collective honors. His winning single, "Mi Persona Favorita", took home Best Pop Song, as well as Record of the Year, marking his fifth time winning this category. Sanz, who has sold more than 25 million albums worldwide throughout his career, performed his hit song alongside Greeicy, Nella and UMPG Spain's Aitana.

Numerous UMPG songwriters were awarded throughout the 20th Latin Grammys. The first winner of the night, Juan Luis Guerra, took home two awards including Best Contemporary/Tropical Fusion album for Literal. Regional Mexican star Christian Nodal saw two wins, including Best Ranchero/Mariachi album for Ahora. Other UMPG honorees include Mon Laferte and Luis Enrique.

Among the many UMPG major artists who graced the stage during the telecast were Alicia Keys who performed "Show Me Love" with Miguel, Sebastián Yatra who performed "Un Año" ft.
