Jennifer Matt, Executive Producer of the Festival, commented, We are humbled and honored that SHEL would allow us to use their incredible song, Stronger Than My Fears, for our inaugural festival. It's as if they wrote this song just for our us.

SHELs Eva Holbrook added, "I cried the first time I saw this collection of films capturing a brief glimpse into the lives of so many strong and beautiful women. Nothing could express the heart of our song better than their stories of struggle, determination, and victory."
Stronger Than My Fears written and performed by SHEL, is featured on the bands recently released album, Just Crazy Enough. The album was co-produced by Dave Stewart (best known for his work with the Eurythmics) and is described as laden with enticing beats, bright and airy backing vocals, and earnestly told stories woven throughout."

ABOUT SHEL
Born and raised Colorado, the four sisters were named #1 band to watch by Colorado's own ALIVE Magazine. SHEL have amassed a loyal fan base due to a defiantly DIY approach marked by constant touring and genre-twisting music. Raised on an abandoned trailer park that the family restored and turned into a farm, they had an unconventional and imaginative upbringing in the foothills of Fort Collins. Each found an instrument to master early on, studying classical music while composing and arranging with Sarah on violin, Hannon on piano, Eva on mandolin, and Liza on drums, djembe and beatboxing. Using their first initals, the band created an acronym - SHEL. The band released their self-titled debut to great acclaim, and were embraced by MTV, USA Today, American Songwriter and many more.
