Lil Tecca Releases Anxiously Awaited New Album "Plan A"
New York, NY (Top40 Charts) The multi-platinum sensation Lil Tecca unveils his anxiously awaited fourth full-length studio album, PLAN A, out now. To coincide with the release, Lil Tecca drops his new video for "120" today.

The 18-track opus finds Tecca firing on all cylinders, flaunting highly quotable bars and hypnotic melodies in equal measure. He links up with Don Toliver on "I CAN'T LET GO." In between Tecca's nimble rhymes, Don intoxicates with an irresistible refrain, "I drink a lot of juice, I smoke a lot of smoke." Otherworldly production brushes up against his fast-paced cadence on "120" where he goes on to promise, "I don't fuck with y'all, that's on my mama." Then, there's "Cold Girls." He layers emotional verses over ethereal loops as he sets the scene, "Hair brand new, nails brand new, you don't need to show it off, everybody knew." Then, there's "MAMA." He pays homage to the most important person on his journey and in his life. Teeming with emotion, his voice echoes as he urges, "Stay just like this, I know you don't give a fuck about what I make, mama." The album concludes with "ALL THE TIME." Bass grooves, keys dazzle, the wordplay scorches, and Tecca shines one last time on the finale.

He set the stage for its release with "BAD TIME." In addition to plugs from HYPEBEAST and more, Ratings Game Music applauded how, "Lil Tecca steps in with a melodic rap flow, bringing just the right mix of passion to connect with listeners while maintaining that laid-back hipness that will resonate with the playas of the world." Meanwhile, Billboard proclaimed, "Lil Tecca is entering his Plan A era,"

In just a few weeks, the latter has already generated millions of streams along with the Lyrical Lemonade-helmed music video. Regarding this season, HotNewHipHop praised how "a majority of the singles have been hitting thanks to some truly sticky melodies and flows."

"BAD TIME" landed in the wake of the statement-making "TASTE," which has surged with north of 11 million streams worldwide. HotNewHipHop applauded, "The latter is very chill and summery and allowing for the '500lbs' hitmaker to find an equally smooth pocket." Listen to "TASTE" HERE. Prior, he amassed impressive numbers as "Number 2" generated over 50 million streams followed by 21 million streams on "Never Last."

PLAN A follows 2023's TEC. The album marked his fourth consecutive Top 15 debut on the Billboard 200 and has garnered over 1.7 billion streams worldwide.
For Lil Tecca, everything has built up to this moment. As a teen, he uncompromisingly pursued his dream and wound up with 11 billion streams, sales of 8 million albums, and a bevy of multiplatinum singles, going on to earn "the most platinum certifications for a lead artist among all rappers currently under 21."
As always, Tecca has returned bigger and better than ever, keeping fans and critics alike tuned in to see what's coming next.

For Lil Tecca, music was always an all-or-nothing proposition. Five years since his 2019 breakout, he still raps like it. The New York-born phenomenon has consistently leveled up with an uncompromisingly original style of his own anchored by clever wordplay, airtight bars, and an intoxicating melodic fluidity. This approach has quietly entrenched him at the forefront of 21st century hip-hop with the numbers to back up his status. Generating north of 10 billion streams and counting, his catalog boasts the 7x-platinum "Ransom," 2x-platinum "Love Me," and 2x-platinum "Did It Again," among many others. He bowed in the Top 10 of the Billboard 200 with the platinum-certified We Love You Tecca [2019], Virgo World [2020], and We Love You Tecca 2 in addition to going Top 15 with TEC [2023]. The latter saw him firing on all cylinders fueled by fan favorites such as "HVN ON EARTH" [with Kodak Black] and the platinum-certified "500lbs." HotNewHipHop hailed the album as "Triumphant," and GQ raved, "Tecca has retained the playful urgency, slippery flow, and versatile melodies that made 'Ransom' undeniable." GRAMMY.com applauded how, "TEC breezes through everything that makes Tecca, Tecca." He headlined sold out international tours and earned acclaim from New York Times, Billboard, HYPEBEAST, and Complex, to name a few. Simultaneously, he emerged as a versatile powerhouse equally comfortable on a track with either Lil Uzi Vert and Lil Durk or The Kid LAROI and the late Juice WRLD. However, he goes harder than ever on his 2024 fourth full-length album, PLAN A [Galactic/Republic Records].
