NEW YORK (Disson Skating/ www.KidsWithACause.org) - Beloved platinum-selling recording star Andrea Bocelli teams with Olympic and World figure skating champions for a mesmerizing afternoon of entertainment, Andrea Bocelli's "Tribute on Ice," Presented by McCormick.

This unique program features Mr. Bocelli singing some of his best-known classical hits as well as wonderful new songs from his latest album, "Andrea", released this fall on Universal Classics. Included will be: "Sogno," "Nessun Dorma," "Melodrama," "Sin Tu Amor," "Time To Say Goodbye," and "Dell'Amore Non Si Sa."
Interpreting Mr. Bocelli's music on-ice will be four of the greatest North American male skaters of the past twenty years, including 1988 Olympic Champion Brian Boitano; two-time Olympic Silver Medalist Brian Orser; six-time U.S. Champion Todd Eldredge; and three-time U.S. Champion Michael Weiss.

These powerful performers will be joined by elegant two-time Olympic Champion Ekaterina Gordeeva; popular 1995 U.S. Champion Nicole Bobek; the lyrical Caryn Kadavy, a two-time U.S. Pro-Am Champion; dynamic World Champion and ten-time Canadian Champion Shae-Lynn Bourne; and the charismatic five-time Italian Champion Silvia Fontana.
The masters of ice romance, two-time U.S. dance champions Renee Roca & Gorsha Sur, will deliver two special performances.

Twelve-year old Holly Stell, a spokesperson for https://www.KidsWithACause.org, a non-profit organization that emphasizes the importance and value of children helping children, joins Mr. Bocelli on vocals for "Go Where Love Goes." A soprano from Northern California, Miss Stell has been studying opera since age nine.

Filmed on location in Bridgeport, CT at the Arena at Harbor Yard at a live show that sold out in just one day, the event was produced by Disson Skating (https://www.dissonskating.com). This will be the fourth consecutive year that Disson Skating has produced a tribute show combining the world of figure skating with the legacy of famous entertainers; previous tributes to Aretha Franklin, the late Ray Charles and Burt Bacharach were artistic and athletic standouts.
The Andrea Bocelli "Tribute on Ice" Presented by McCormick is set to air Saturday, December 18, 2004 2-4 P.M. Eastern Time on NBC. Check your local listings.
