Traveler Releases Remix Of Daft Punk's 'Give Back To Music'
New York, NY (Top40 Charts) Groovy. Effortless. Cool. The music of Daft Punk penetrates one's psyche upon first listen and there it remains. Such is the power Daft Punk's music holds and it's no wonder their original productions have shattered expectations and become objects of imitation for music-creators who came after. The California-based producers, Traveler and PHYNX, are amongst Daft Punk's millions of admirers, but the Traveler and PHYNX take on this Daft Punk original is quite unique. The Traveler & PHYNX Remix of Daft Punk's "Give Life Back To Music" is out now.

Just as the original doesn't try too hard to impress, Traveler also manages an effortless cool in his music. Where the original Daft Punk creation demonstrates a throwback 1970's retro vibe, Traveler and PHYNX team up to modernize the track and turn it into a perfectly swinging, tightly honed re-work that's every bit as flawless as the original. With a dense, impossibly heavy 4/4 beat on the intro, the Traveler & PHYNX Remix uses their signature synthesizers while replaying the vocals in a slightly lower register. A sunlit sprinkling of twinkling synths cascades over the repeated vocal and it's still a wonder how well Traveler takes a pop music classic and renews it to make it sound even more contemporary. The remix has growling, snarling synthesizers and other acoustic treatments yet it maintains the groovy vibe that pulses in a very hip-swaying way. This remix is sublime.

Traveler is a one-man electronic music band comprised of the American producer Zander Tron. Traveler's live performances take listeners on a journey of emotion through sound and cutting-edge visuals. Established in 2010 and currently based out of Santa Barbara, California, Traveler has opened for major headlining acts such as Flume, Seven Lions, Duke Dumont, Odesza, Autograf, Emancipator, Pretty Lights, Bob Moses, Lee Burridge and others. Zander of Traveler has performed as a DJ at key festivals including: Burning Man in the Black Rock Desert north of Reno; Electric Daisy Carnival (EDC) in Las Vegas; Beyond Wonderland in San Bernardino; Lucidity Festival in Santa Barbara; and Envision Festival in Costa Rica. Additionally, Zander has DJ'd at leading nightclubs including Avalon in Los Angeles.
