World Famous Opera Star Brings Opera To Unlikely London Venue

New York, NY (Top40 Charts) Jonathan Cilia Faro will be performing tracks from his forthcoming album, From Now On at the legendary London venue, The Troubadour, on 24th September, a stage that has hosted the likes of Bob Dylan, Jimi Hendrix, Paul Simon, Joni Mitchell and more.

Set to be his first live performance in the UK, Jonathan has already received rave reviews across Europe and North America and is determined to break down the barriers to opera and engage audiences of music lovers whatever their background. Audiences can expect not just Jonathan's spine-tingling voice and fabulous songs but a performer with real humour and personality who connects directly with the listener.

From his troubled childhood which saw him finding solace in classical music thanks to a nun at his school, to his time spent as in the Italian army to his life-threatening battle with cancer; Jonathan has overcome every obstacle life has thrown at him to follow his dream of becoming an opera star.

Born in Sicily and now dividing his time between London and America, Jonathan is an entertainer who combines his love of opera with liberal doses of humour and stories from his remarkable life.
