APA Signs Scooter Brown Band
New York, NY (Top40 Charts) APA, one of the largest diversified talent agencies in the industry, has signed the native Texas group, Scooter Brown Band, it was announced today by Steve Lassiter, Partner and Head of Concerts for APA Nashville. Lead by Marine Corps combat veteran, Scott Brown, the band's 'Hard Times' and 'Olivia' southern rock singles from their fourth and latest self-titled album have received great radio play since its release late last year. Most recently, they've headlined shows across the country and opened for some of the biggest names in the business, including Chris Young,Little Big Town, Charlie Daniels, Pat Green, Josh Abbott Band and The Band Perry, to name a few.

"We strongly believe in introducing young acts to new markets, and it's always exciting to develop one as invigorating as Scooter Brown Band," commented Lassiter in making the announcement. "With their current fan base and infrastructure, I'm confident we will reach new heights together."

APA Nashville will handle the band's domestic and international bookings, with consulting by David Corlew of David Corlew & Associates.

"We're extremely excited to be signing with APA," added Brown. "It's a huge step for the band, and pretty awesome to see our name on a roster full of many of the artists who've inspired us. We're all looking forward to a long, successful relationship with the APA family!"

"Scott and the Scooter Brown Band were a pleasant surprise to me. How they present their music and the approach to playing live is reminiscent of the way it happened in the 70's with the Charlie Daniels Band, Lynyrd Skynyrd, and the Marshall Tucker Band," said Corlew. "Their work ethic is unbelievable. The sound of southern music is alive and well."

About Scooter Brown Band
After four years and three months, two tours overseas with one tour of combat in Iraq as a United States Marine, Scott Brown traded his guns in for guitars and hit the road. The Scooter Brown Band was formed in 2005 and played mainly in and around Houston, Texas. It wasn't until 2009 with the release of their first studio album, "Between Hell & Texas," that they gained a notable presence in the music scene. Along with their growing notoriety came their first radio single "Apology." Other radio releases were soon to follow and include "Whiskey Talkin", "Soldiers Christmas Eve", "Feels Like Home," "Summer Song". In 2010, Scooter Brown Band put out the album "LIVE at BIG TEXAS". In 2013, they followed up with their next studio album, "VALOR." The title track was co-written by Navy Seal & American Sniper, Chris Kyle.

The newest self-titled album "Scooter Brown Band" was released in September 2015. This album is a move in a different direction for the band with a lot more "Southern Rock" influence. Radio singles, "Hard Times" & "Olivia" have already come off this record with great response. For more on the Scooter Brown Band, please visit www.scooterbrownband.com.
