Nashville, TN. (Top40 Charts/ W.K.W. Agency) - Former PovertyNeck Hillbillies singer Abby Abbondanza has signed an exclusive booking agreement with Ken Woodward of the W.K.W. Agency.

"I am thrilled and honored to have the opportunity to work with Abby on his first solo project," says Ken Woodward, W.K.W. Agency President. "The guy has put together a show that is going to surpass all expectations. In a time of economic uncertainty I'm putting my money on a sure thing - Abby Abbondanza."
For information on booking Abby, please contact Ken Woodward at [email protected] or 740-408-2132.

Abbondanza will release his debut solo album, Promised Land, through Matchless Records on Nov. 11. Shawn Pennington and Steve Peffer produced the album at The Sound Kitchen in Nashville.

An official CD release party will be held Nov. 8 at the Pepsi-Cola Roadhouse in Burgettstown, PA. For more information, visit www.pepsiroadhouse.com. For a current list of tour dates, visit www.myspace.com/deerabby2.
For interview requests, albums or photos, please contact Christy Watkins at [email protected] or 615-269-7071.

Abby Abbondanza joined the Pittsburgh-based PovertyNeck Hillbillies in 2002, where the band developed a significant following along the East Coast. They sold more than 60,000 copies of their two independently released albums and garnered national attention with their single "Mr. Right Now" before breaking up earlier this year.
