TORONTO, Canada (Billy Ray Cyrus Fans Website) - Billy Ray Cyrus, critically acclaimed television, film and music star, has landed the role of Frank Butler opposite Louise Pitre in the staged concert production of Irving Berlin's Annie Get Your Gun The show will preview August 1 and open August 2 for a limited run to August 20 at Toronto's Massey Hall.

Since his monster-international hit Achy Breaky Heart in 1992, Billy Ray Cyrus has maintained his worldwide success, earning multi-platinum certifications in Australia, platinum in Denmark, New Zealand and Norway and gold in the UK and South Africa as well as a Diamond Award in Canada. His successes include three number-one, and many top-ten singles including Busy Man and Trail of Tears.
'We are extremely delighted that Billy Ray Cyrus will take the lead role as Frank Butler,' said co-producer Stephen Adler.

Bill Ray Cyrus has been no stranger to movie and television screens during the course of his career. He starred in the PAX-TV series Doc (2001-04), playing a Montana doctor who moves to New York City and also made guest appearances on such popular tv shows as Degrassi: The Next Generation and Sue Thomas: F.B.Eye. He starred in the 1999 independent film Radical Jack and also enjoyed roles in the David Lynch film Mulholland Drive and the New Line Cinema feature film Wish You Were Dead. Mr. Cyrus has even been the subject of many television specials that detail his rise to fame and his extraordinary career including two ABC documentaries, Dreams Come True and A Year On The Road, a VH-1 exclusive and the TNN specials I Give My Heart To You and The Life and Times of Billy Ray Cyrus.

Performances: Monday-Saturday at 7:30pm; Matinees Thursday and Saturday at 2pm
