British Electropop Sensation Frankmusik Hitting The Road With Erasure
Santa Monica, CA (Top40 Charts/ Cherrytree/ Interscope) English synth-pop legends Erasure will be launching the first leg of their Tomorrow's World tour in the U.S. on August 31st with Frankmusik, the British remix master whose own full-length album Do It in the AM will be released in September on Cherrytree/Interscope.. Frankmusik also produced Erasure's October disc Tomorrow's World, the band's first album in four years, and Erasure's 14th studio set and first release since their remastered version of 1988's classic The Innocents was released in 2009.

This electro-dynamic pairing will sweep through the States on a 27-date trek that includes two gigs at New York's Terminal 5, a pair of shows at Chicago's Congress Theater, and one huge night at the Hollywood Palladium.

Erasure (Andy Bell and Vince Clarke) have been a dominant force in the electro world since their first album, Wonderland, arrived in 1986. The group's singles ruled the U.K. charts before they cracked America with "Chains of Love" in 1988, and their masterfully crafted dance-pop has connected with fans worldwide for 26 years. The group reconvened for Tomorrow's World in early '11 after a short break during which Bell recorded a solo album and Clarke toured with his former Yazoo bandmate Alison Moyet. Their anxiously awaited fall tour is their first in the U.S. in five years.

Frankmusik - a.k.a. 25-year-old Vincent Frank made his name churning out killer remixes for Lady Gaga and the Pet Shop Boys and helping launch the career of Cherrytree/Interscope label-mate Ellie Goulding. After becoming a well-known musician on the London scene, Frankmusik relocated to Los Angeles in November 2009 in an effort to shock himself into taking new risks and hit paydirt teaming up with chart superstars Far East Movement for his first solo single, "Do It in the AM." The throbby banger's 'uh, what the hell happened last night?' video concept racked up over 1 million views in one week and was featured as one of NME's must hear songs. In turn, Frankmusik was featured on Far East Movement's song "Fighting for Air" and together they played to hundreds of thousands of fans on TV and on the road performing Far East Movement's hit "Rocketeer."
