Texas Angel Network Singing Star Contest! Five lucky contestants will be chosen to perform one song each at the 15th Annual East
Texas Angel Network Benefit concert to fight for a once in a lifetime opportunity to take the stage with
Neal McCoy at a concert date to be determined!
Neal McCoy has always been the featured artist for the concert and along with many friends from the music industry and sports world who donate their time.
Neal McCoy and his wife Melinda established the East
Texas Angel Network in the spring of 1995 with the purpose of making funds readily available to families who were experiencing financial difficulties due to the expenses incurred as a result of a child's illness. Through fundraising activities the organization has raised over five million dollars for medical treatments and related costs for children of East
Texas with terminal or life-threatening diseases!
Whether you are a first timer or fanatic, once you witness Neal McCoy's wide-ranging vocal abilities combined with his magnetic stage presence, you will then appreciate the magic that has incessantly kept this talented Texan's career evolving over the past 20 years. The Singing Star Contest is open to amateurs, so if you think you have what it takes to share a stage with a Neal McCoy; then this might be your chance to start a career of your own!
The 15th Annual East Texas Angel Network Benefit weekend is scheduled for September 25th and 26th. The Singing Star Contest will take place on September 26th. Applications, along with video must be submitted no later than July 15. Auditions will be by DVD or Video tape only. No Cassettes or CD's will be accepted. Persons under contract with a professional management agency or record company or who derive a significant portion of their income from public recording or performance are not eligible to participate.

ETAN Singing Star Contest Rules & Regulations
� Solo Acts only
� Back-up music be keyboard, guitar, or tracks
� Country music only. No original songs!
� Auditions must be submitted on DVD. (No VHS tapes will be accepted)
� Five finalists will be selected and they will perform at the ETAN Concert on Saturday September 26.
� If chosen, you must provide your own accompaniment or furnish music for Neal McCoy's band by August 15.
� Finalists will be notified by August 1.
� You will be judged on vocal performance, stage presence, appearance, song selection
� You must submit an 8X10 photo of yourself for possible publicity purposes.
