Nashville, TN (Carrie Underwood Official Website) - Newly crowned ACM Top New Female Vocalist Carrie Underwood saw sales of her Triple-Platinum Some Hearts collection soar following last week's Academy of Country Music Awards, where Carrie took home two trophies and earned a standing ovation following her performance of her six-week No 1 ACM Single Record of the Year winner, 'Jesus, Take the Wheel.'
Momentum from the show, as well as current smash single, 'Don't Forget to Remember Me,' helped propel sales of Some Hearts to an impressive 84% week-to-week jump, returning to the Top 10 on the all-genre Billboard 200 sales chart and claiming the No 3 position among Billboard's Top Country Albums.

Immediately after the ACM show, Carrie was underway to Los Angeles, where she performed the following evening on the season finale of American Idol – a very special return to the program that launched her career one year earlier. Featured on the cover of the Life section of this Sunday's Tennessean, Carrie will be in Nashville next week for activities surrounding the annual CMA Music Festival, where she will perform on the main stage Coliseum show on Saturday, June 10.
