Darius' current hit "Alright" is the third single from his "Learn to Live" CD to top Billboard country charts. Two other singles-"Don't Think I Don't Think About It" and "It Won't Be Like This for Long"- reached No. 1.
The 43-year-old vocalist, recognized as "Hootie" from Hootie & the Blowfish, was featured earlier this month in a Country Music Television (CMT) special, "Invitation Only: Darius Rucker." Darius, also a 2009 CMT award nominee, was described by Variety as "a new major star�the [country genre may never be the same." The New York Times reported that "Learn to Live" was "one of 2008's most vibrant country albums." The album debuted at No. 1.
