Eric Hutchinson Debuts New Single 'Watching You Watch Him,' On Season Premiere Of 'Grey's Anatomy'; Hutchinson's New Album 'Moving Up, Living Down' Due Out In Early 2012
BURBANK, CA. (Top40 Charts/ Judi Kerr PR/ Warner Bros. Records) "Watching You Watch Him," the new single from Warner Bros. Records artist Eric Hutchinson, debuted last night on the season premiere of ABC's "Grey's Anatomy." The track, which ships to radio on November 28th, is from Hutchinson's forthcoming album, Moving Up, Living Down.

Moving Up, Living Down - which will be released in early 2012 - is the follow up to Hutchinson's breakthrough debut, Sounds Like This. He recorded the new album with Mike Elizondo (Eminem, Regina Spektor) in California and Martin Terefe (Jason Mraz, Train) in London, while writing the songs in New York City.

"I thought the album was nearly done - until the melody for 'Watching You Watch Him' came to me backstage at the Warfield," recalls Eric. "I finished the song the next day and then something happened, it must have opened the floodgates, because I ended up writing and recording a ton of new songs that I knew needed to make the final cut for Moving Up, Living Down."

Sounds Like This bowed at No 1 on Billboard's Heatseekers chart. And the international hit single "Rock & Roll" was certified Platinum in Australia, New Zealand and Norway and Gold in the United States. Hutchinson is a favorite of artists as wide-ranging as Kelly Clarkson, who has recorded the Eric-penned "Why Don't You Try," and Don Henley, who performed "You Don't Have to Believe Me" on his 2011 tour.
