Multi-instrumentalist, songwriter and producer Jamie Beau releases his Alt-Folk debut album entitled 'TALES OF THE EARTH, TALES OF THE SEA...', out 4th December 2015 on Bearded Basket. Produced by Beau with Dan Gallagher (Get Cubs) and drums by Pete Reisner (Max Raptor, Hassle Records), the album is a creation of a 2 year journey that saw him share the stage with artists such as The Magic Numbers, Dan Reed and Amy Wadge (co-writer for Ed Sheeran) as well as being featured by BBC Introducing and appearances at YNOT Derbyshire, Willow Man, Lechlade and Milton Keynes International festivals.

Jamie Beau approaches his craft with a youthful exuberance and devotion to match that of his flair and genius as a musician. Jamie describes, "I play a guitar, stomp pedal, cajon, cuatro de Puerto Rico, drums, percussion… I'm always looking for new and unusual sounds. If you can bang it and twang it, I'll have a good go at playing it! Then I make my gums flap a bit." His mature sound comes from a diverse selection of influences; his parents 70s soul and rock records to the likes of Guy Garvey, Sigur Rós and Jeff Buckley.

His debut album, 'TALES OF THE EARTH, TALES OF THE SEA...', is a testimony to his talent not only as a songwriter but multi-instrumentalist with every instrument, bar the drums and cello, being performed by Beau. At the core of his music are percussive, fingerstyle acoustic guitar melodies infused with a sophisticated and articulate vocal cased within a simple, yet beautiful, song. "Sometimes I'm just going on a thought journey, sometimes I'm referring to a time and place in my life. I wanted the record to challenge a listener with some relatively open lyrics and to socially immerse you." said Beau.

With tour dates coinciding with the 4th December release of 'TALES OF THE EARTH, TALES OF THE SEA...' these are exciting times for Jamie Beau as one to watch for 2016!
