Nashville, TN. (Top 40 Charts/ Arista Records) - Season seven American Idol finalist and 19 Recordings/Arista Nashville recording artist Kristy Lee Cook is climbing the charts with her single, '15 Minutes of Shame,' and with her new album, Why Wait, already in stores, Cook will enjoy one of the most exciting moments for any country artist when she makes her debut appearance this Saturday on the Grand Ole Opry.

Cook has also been selected by the editors at MSN Music as one of three rising artists - chosen from the best in all genres - to be spotlight this month in their 'Ones to Watch' feature at music.msn.com. Earlier in the day, at 2 PM CT, Cook will be at Nashville 's Vanderbilt Stadium to open the Vanderbilt / Duke football game with a performance of the National Anthem.
