Life Is Good Provides $300,000 In Support To Zac Brown's Camp Southern Ground To Help Kids In Need
New York, NY (Top40 Charts / Life is Good) Life is Good spreads optimism to the people who need it most through the Life is Good Kids Foundation, which partners with organizations serving the most vulnerable kids, like Camp Southern Ground, to strengthen the quality and culture of their care.

"Through Life is Good's continued support, I know we can make an even bigger difference in our effort to change kids' lives at Camp Southern Ground," said Zac Brown. "Our partnership with Life is Good gives support where it matters most: helping kids to reach their full potential and achieve excellence in all facets of their lives, regardless of any academic, social or emotional difficulties they live with."

The Life is Good Kids Foundation works hands-on with thousands of childcare professionals through its Playmaker program to provide the training and support they need to ensure that children facing challenges grow up feeling safe, loved and joyful.

As part of this partnership, all of the counselors and adults who work with kids at Camp Southern Ground will be trained by the Life is Good Kids Foundation to become certified as a Playmaker so they can continue to help kids of all abilities and backgrounds have the happy childhoods they deserve.

"Every child deserves a happy childhood, and we know firsthand how the power of optimism can impact kids' lives in the long term," said Bert Jacobs, Chief Executive Optimist for Life is Good. "By bringing our Playmaker approach to the staff at Camp Southern Ground, we can help to create an experience of a lifetime for kids who truly deserve it."

In addition to the support, Life is Good has collaborated with Zac Brown to design a custom line of "Zac Brown Band x Life is Good" T-shirts to benefit Camp Southern Ground and Playmakers training for the camp's staff. The tees can be purchased by texting 4GOOD to 77948.
