Kansas City, Mo. (Lance Combs Official WebSaite/ www.lancecombs.com) - Lance Combs, a Nashville recording artist released his debut album, Soundtrack of Life, during his CD release party at Whiskey Tango Bar, Saturday, October 14, 2006.

Fans experienced a special performance Saturday night by Combs and his band, Honky Tonk Posse, at Grain Valley's wildest western bar. Currently, Combs' songs are generating spins on radio stations across the country including stations in California, Michigan, Detroit and Nebraska. Listen to "Ray J's Juke Joint" at www.lancecombs.com/press/songs/rayjs.mp3 and "Something Close to It" at www.lancecombs.com/press/songs/closetoit.mp3.

Combs' album is a mixture of childhood memories and today's country rock. His first single, Soundtrack of Life, is a feel-good anthem that mimics his yesteryears of rodeos, cowboys and a fiddle-playing grandfather, who entertained audiences in the pre-television era of entertainment. Much of his music is inspired by his favorite artists including Waylon Jennings, Willie Nelson and George Straight. Fans can purchase the album at https://www.lancecombs.com/store/.

Suiting any mood, Combs' music is so poignant that it will make you want to fall in love, kick the dirt and drive like hell down a country road. The album is incredibly personal and illustrates the emotional rollercoaster of everyday life. "Singing isn't just about entertaining; it's about connecting with the fans," said Combs. "I hope my music can touch their lives the way it has touched mine."

Recently, Combs opened for The Wreckers, Michelle Branch and Jessica Harp and performed for the Kansas City Chiefs. Combs is also scheduled to play several other venues throughout the next year. Check out his tour dates at https://www.myspace.com/lancecombs or www.lancecombs.com.

The country rock singer's album is co-produced with Mark Lambert, the Grammy-award-winning engineer of The Horse Whisperer, and Grammy-nominated producer for Ronnie Milsap. Lambert works with artists such as Ronnie Milsap, Willie Nelson, Merle Haggard, Emmylou Harris, Jamey Johnson, Billy Gilman, Leon Russell and a host of others. Combs' celebrity voice coach, Rene Grant-Williams, works closely with stars such as Kenny Chesney, Garth Brooks, Tim McGraw, Faith Hill, Martina McBride, Bo Bice, Christina Aguilara and Bob Weir of the Grateful Dead.
