Nashville, TN. (Top40 Charts/ Decca Records) - Newcomers One Flew South's debut single, 'My Kind of Beautiful,' has gained an enthusiastic radio response even before its official add date of June 2nd. The single, which was written by Marcus Hummon, Darrell Scott, and Andy Griggs, is from their album Last of the Good Guys set for release on May 27th (Decca Records). The song highlights the three superbly matched vocalists of One Flew South, (Chris Roberts, Eddie Bush, and Royal Reed) whose harmonies rang throughout the ACM's Westwood One Radio remote over the weekend causing quite an excited stir.

'As soon as we heard 'My Kind of Beautiful' we all knew we were onto something really special as a group,' said Chris Roberts. 'There was no question that this song needed to be cut and released as our first single,' added Eddie Bush. 'All three writers on this song are extremely talented so it was an honor for us to be able to record the song and the result is something we are so proud of,' said Royal Reed.

'The song stands out for its country music elements,' said Marcus Hummon. 'The opening riff is a guitar pretending to be a banjo - our banjo player tuned an electric guitar to a banjo tuning, and it's really beautiful. My good buddies Darrell Scott and Andy Griggs are brilliant Nashville songwriters.'

One Flew South teamed up with Nashville songwriter Marcus Hummon to produce their debut album Last of the Good Guys. A Nashville-based songwriter whose catalog contains six No. 1 hits from the likes of The Dixie Chicks, Tim McGraw, and Rascal Flatts'. Marcus bought out the best in all three members of the group from singing to songwriting. The guys also teamed up with legendary songwriter J.D. Souther, to write several of the tracks on the album. J.D.'s notable lyrical ability is prominent on the album and the result is nothing less than an amazing album of trio harmonies and sound that the music industry has not heard in quite some time.
