NASHVILLE, TN. (Top40 Charts/ Skaggs Family Records) - Ricky Skaggs and the Whites bring a rousing rendition of Willie Nelson's 'Family Bible' to the Grand Ole Opry stage as part of the Great American Country's special 'How Great Thou Art: Gospel Favorites From The Grand Ole Opry,' which airs February 9 at 8pm ET. Skaggs and the Whites perform on the special alongside fellow country stars Carrie Underwood, Loretta Lynn, Brad Paisley and others.

Skaggs and the Whites recently released the acclaimed gospel album 'Salt of the Earth' on Skaggs Family Records, which the Washington Post called 'an album fueled by spiritual themes, striking vocal harmonies and stellar musicianship.'

On March 25, Skaggs will release 'Honoring the Fathers of Bluegrass: Tribute to 1946 and '47' on Skaggs Family Records. The 12-song album is a tribute to Bill Monroe and the 'Original Bluegrass Band' (Lester Flatt, Earl Scruggs, Chubby Wise and Howard Watts), who created the genre in '46 and '47.
The album's genesis came when Skaggs discovered a stash of live recordings that document Monroe and the band at the height of their powers.
