Rising Bluegrass Artist Joe Hott Releases First Single With Rural Rhythm Records
New York, NY (Top40 Charts) Rising bluegrass artist Joe Hott is excited to announce the release of his first single with Rural Rhythm Records West Virginia Rail, produced by GRAMMY award-winning Glen Duncan and Sony/ATV Music producer Adam Engelhardt. The single is now available on Spotify, iTunes, Amazon and all other online retailers.

"West Virginia Rail is a song that tells my story but can resonate with many others," explains Hott. "The song tells the story of a young person who misses home when they move to the big city to pursue a career. I think many people give up what they know to be able to succeed and that's what this song is about."

The track is a hard driving train song that never slows down. Written with Glen Duncan and Adam Englehardt, Hott's soulful mountain vocals are accompanied by top Bluegrass musicians, Cody Kilby, Scott Vestal, Glen Duncan, Joe Spivey, Dennis Crouch and Casey Campbell. A unique blend of retro-bluegrass, traditional country, gospel and original Appalachian mountain music provide the mixture that makes the West Virginia born Joe Hott a rare treasure on today's music scene.

"Rural Rhythm became aware of Joe Hott when he performed on The 615 Hideaway live stream for RFD-TV "Music Mondays." Hott's performance combined an authentic love and respect of roots music with a genuine passion and power that created a freshness and originality to his music," explains Sam Passamano, II, President of Rural Rhythm Records. "We were impressed with the team Hott has assembled for his music and career including producers Adam Engelhardt and Glen Duncan, management direction by music veteran JoAnn Berry and PLA Media. We are very excited to join this strong team and help Joe Hott bring his style of music to fans everywhere."

About Joe Hott
Striding confidently onto the Nashville music scene, Joe Hott is a new face and voice for a world of listeners ready to discover that "all things old become new." The lanky 6 foot preacher's son found a fascination early in life with the tradition-steeped sounds of artists like Dr. Ralph Stanley, Flatt & Scruggs, Hank Williams, Sr. and Bill Monroe. This spun the fabric of Joe's creative inspiration, formed his vocal interpretations and set the foundation for his songwriting. Now, after years of touring Appalachia and developing a musical identity of his own, Joe has earned the support of WSM Radio and a partnership with national retailer Durango Boots.
