New York, NY (Top40 Charts) Australian alternative/dance trio SAFIA are excited to premiere their new single "
Starlight" via triple j radio in Australia and announce that the song will be available this Friday in the US via all DSPS. The band debuted the single live this summer at the Splendour in the Grass Festival in Australia to a packed crowd (watch the performance wrap-up video here). "
Starlight" signifies a step forward in SAFIA's sound as a soon-to-be classic - with sprawling vocals and an intoxicating beat, the track is primed for your endless summer playlist. Twenty One Pilots on the Pacific Leg of their Emotional Roadshow Tour and on the heels of making their debut appearance in China at Shanghai's Concrete & Grass Festival SAFIA are also announcing a handful of intimate Australian performances in Brisbane, Sydney and Melbourne this November, supported by
Genesis Owusu. As festival favorites, SAFIA has also been announced on a number of upcoming line-ups including This That, Beyond the Valley, Origin Fields, The Grass is Greener, and a headline slot for

Comprised of producers/musicians Ben Woolner (vocals), Michael Bell (drums) andHarry Sayers (guitars & synths) SAFIA first broke onto the scene in 2015 with features onAlison Wonderland's "Take It To Reality" and Peking Duk's "Take Me Over," which was certified double-platinum in Australia. The band dropped their debut album Internal in 2016, landing SAFIA at #2 on the ARIA album charts and #1 on iTunes. Internal's success drew critical praise from the likes of Rolling Stone Australia and the Sydney Morning Herald, the album received ARIA and J Award nominations and saw the band complete a SOLD-OUT national tour. At the end of 2017, SAFIA followed-up with the single "Cellophane Rainbow," racking up over 2 MILLION streams and released a second single "Freakin' Out" earlier this year, which has become a fan favorite with over 1 MILLION streams and the special release of an acoustic version.
