NEW YORK (Top40 Charts/ By Tiffany Shipp/ Sunshine, Sachs & Associates) - Hearst Magazines and Sears have announced that one of the highest-selling female artists in Country music history, Trisha Yearwood has donated her time and talent to Sears' Heroes At Home program by recording a stunning version of the Rodgers and Hammerstein classic, "My Favorite Things," available exclusively for free download online at www.Sears.com. There fans can also learn about what they can do to help deserving military families.

Trisha's silky interpretation of "My Favorite Things" is a must-add to any holiday playlist and brings to mind the simple pleasures in life. In addition to the song, fans can watch the music video on Sears.com which features Trisha in two of her favorite places - in the studio and on the stage. The video compiles footage shot in Nashville's Sound Emporium recording studio as well as clips from her September concert for military families at the Fort Knox Army Base in Kentucky.

"The holidays are a time when, hopefully, families can celebrate the simple things together. My best memories center around time with my family enjoying a delicious home-cooked dinner and laughing over our special memories," says Trisha. "This holiday season may be tougher than most for a lot of my fans, who have become part of my extended family. When I was asked to be part of the Heroes At Home program, which honors not just our troops but their families here at home, I decided to record one of MY favorites. "My Favorite Things" expresses a simple but special concept."

There is maybe no better voice in country music to sing about "crisp apple strudels, doorbells and sleigh bells and schnitzel with noodles," than a vocalist who has added New York Times Bestselling author to her resume. Trisha recently turned her favorite hobby into a family project when she collaborated with her mom Gwen and sister Beth on a cookbook that combines anecdotes and more than 120 simple and easy recipes from the Yearwood clan. Georgia Cooking in an Oklahoma Kitchen debuted on the New York Times Bestseller list in April 2008

The Heroes at Home program provides support to service members, veterans and their families through joint efforts with various nonprofit organizations, including Rebuilding Together and the United Service Organizations (USO). The Heroes at Home program has helped hundreds of military families across America, and the Wish Registry continues Sears Holdings' support of the men and women who serve our country.
