New York, NY (Top40 Charts) Whitney Peyton goes beyond the limits of genres effortlessly. A Hip Hop artist, her music has no boundaries. She demonstrates this with the announcement of her new home at Tragic Hero Records.
Whitney has multiple releases and national tours to her credit. Ready to take things to a new level, she signed with the predominately rock/metal label Tragic Hero Records which saw something special in her. The partnership was an easy choice for Whitney as she shared, "I told myself that if I ever signed with a label they would need to match my work ethic and really see my vision. Tragic Hero is made up of really excited and hungry individuals that root for the "underdog" which is something I've always represented and never wanted to abandon. My new projects are still hip hop, but will take on a more modern evolved sound as I develop as an artist."
Showcasing her new evolution, Whitney released the rock version of "Woopty Woo Woo" (produced by Matt Good of From First To Last and Ben Bruce of Asking Alexandria), which at face value is a lighthearted satire with underlying messages poking fun at politics, reality shows, and societal standards. The track stays true to Whitney's hip hop roots, while highlighting her versatility. She explained, "I've never been one to limit myself to a certain style so when it was presented to me that Matt and Ben wanted to remix my track into a rock/nu-metal sounding song, I was intrigued! The boys created the new instrumental and I made my lyrics and vocals a little more in your face than before."
In addition to her upcoming record, "Firecracker Pyro Edition" (out 10/6), Whitney is ready to hit the pavement hard, as she heads out on a 55 date tour with Twiztid. The tour kicks off on September 7 in Lansing, MI and wraps up on October 31st in Sauget, IL. Pre orders of the record and exclusive new merch is available at Merchbucket.

About Whitney Peyton
Whitney Peyton has an impressive resume thus far and will continue to add new accolades as her future continues to be on the rise. With her extensive tour history and discography under her belt, she's constantly writing and using real life inspiration for her raps.
Her latest album, "Firecracker," shows off her unique style and vivacious personality. Growing up writing poetry, Whitney pays exceptional attention to detail to the lyrics she writes. Not afraid to touch on personal topics, her songs resonate with her ravenous fan base. The tracks are influenced from many different aspects of Whitney's life whether it's a hilarious situation to a rough break up and everywhere in between.
"Firecracker" was met with such an overwhelming response that Whitney wanted to do something special for her fans. She headed back into the studio to record new bonus tracks that would be included on the "Firecracker: Pyro Edition."
The deluxe version includes previously released standalone singles along with brand new songs. This will be the first record that features both Whitney's signature hip hop style along with rock infused tracks which showcase her diversity and ability to conquer different genres.
The original Firecracker was an appetizer, the Pyro Edition is the whole shebang.
